Connect with YOU
Online Program
Do you find yourself dwelling on the past or worrying about the future?
Are you behaving in ways which are not outside of your values?
Are you struggling with connecting with family, friends and/or co-workers?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, this course may be of benefit to you.
Life can get so busy it can be hard to find time for people in our lives let alone ourselves.
It can feel at times like we don’t know who we are anymore. We feel like we have become someone else to please everyone else. There is a disconnection to our values. We are not moving forward based on feeling solid in our decision(s).
This create an opportunity to reconnect with ourselves so we can reconnect to others in our life.
Benefits of Journaling
An article published by Michael Grothaus in Fast Company titled, “Why Journaling Is Good for Your Health (And 8 Tips to Get Better),” highlights health benefits from journaling. The article mentions research by Dr. James Pennebaker, who is a psychologist and leading expert in the field of Expressive Writing. He has found that journaling strengthens immune cells and has proven to result in drops in depression and anxiety, and increases in positive mood, social engagement and quality of relationships.
The University of Rochester Medical Center found that journaling can improve mental health. The benefits include managing anxiety, reducing stress and coping with depression, to name a few.
